Uncharted Waters is available July 3rd from your favorite local bookstore
or online retailer.
I wrote the book, Uncharted Waters, so that others might experience the Great Lakes, join me in celebrating and protecting them. This is particularly important in an election year—when we have a chance to choose those who will represent us—when we have a chance to insist elected officials make our lakes, our water, a priority.
That was my goal.
As July 3rd approaches, the official publication date, I grow increasingly nervous. For this is my story, the story of a former Fortune 500 executive learning to sail, learning to love, learning to fight for the water and life she holds dear. In sharing it with the world, I feel vulnerable. Naked.
And so I asked people I respect and hold in high esteem to review it—to tell me what they think. And this is what they said . . .
I hope you buy the book—and enjoy it. Maybe even laugh a little. Smile a lot. But above all, I hope you realize we can never take the health of these lakes for granted. Their future is in our hands.
